Final Recap Part 3/3
From Dildo, we were able to explore the Avalon Peninsula. Before going into St. John's, we drove all the way south to a very foggy Cape St. Mary's, to see more birds.
Then finally, we reached the most easterly point of North America, Cape Spears. Our hotel was at the St. John's Harbourfront. And from Signal Hill, to Quidi Vidi, it was all a good time. It just took some getting used to the noise of the "big" city, again.
Finally, it was time to head towards Placentia to catch the overnight ferry back to Nova Scotia. We had been in Newfoundland for an entire month.
Back on dry land, we stopped at the Fortress of Louisbourg returning once again, to Cape Breton.
We then spent a week in the Halifax area, visiting Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, and Wolfville in the Annapolis Valley.
