Quebec City July 22

Our last day of our journey! Tomorrow, we head home. I'm ready to go back home. If I missed out on anything, it wasn't anything much. Cannot complain. Seen plenty and weather was exceptional.
This morning, we started at the Museum of Civilization. I'd never gone before probably because it has a stodgy sounding name. But, one of the exhibits enticed me to head over there, titled Ô Merde!

Believe it or not, I couldn't make myself look at everything. For example, they showed samples, in toilets, so that you could classify yourself. Would have been instructive, but I just couldn't bring myself to look.
Qu'elle surprise, Michael enjoyed this exhibit.
They also had a special exhibit on Pompei. I'm not sure why, but didn't enjoy this one as much as I had expected to.

Lastly, we visited the permanent exhibit that dealt with Quebec history, a wide spectrum of cultural events, artifacts, etc that I will have to revisit because by this time, my brain was feeling fried, and I was not paying the property amount of attention .

Afterwards, we spent some time in Place Royal.People watching, and cat watching, before entering another museum that I enjoyed, probably a lot more than I should have.

Mosied just a little more

Before taking the funicular to the upper city.At no time did I feel  that it was overcrowded, but lots more people here this year, than last. And with the construction holiday, and the pope coming next week, we're fortunate to be getting out of here tomorrow.
Spent a few minutes on the terrasse of the Chateau Frontenac https://photos.app.goo.gl/S63KsaUJAQ5yzVe68
before meeting up with the sweetest lady that we had met on a cruise, along with her sister, for a very gabby dinner. Ellen, if you're reading this, I love you. If you're not reading this, I still love you.
Et c'est tous pour maintenant.
