May 17&18. Last in a string of Sea Days
Still successfully mainly doing, not much. And I'm good at it. There's also bridge (cards) instruction for beginners. Haven't played bridge since university. Almost tempted me until I remembered that I would have to focus.
There are also cooking classes with the ship's chef, but I rather eat than watch how to make. But when I couldn't get my lounge chair, on my designated shaded breezy deck, I succumbed to a cooking class for Butter Chicken.
Of course, everyone gets to sample afterwards. Basically, the main difference that I never bothered with, was marinating the chicken for up to a couple of days beforehand. That would be, because, I'm usually deciding last minute about what to cook. And I still remember, how flavour permeated right through, when my mother made ANY chicken dish, and that was always without marinating. A lost art that I failed to learn.
I don't know for sure, because I haven't asked, but imagine that all these instructors travel for free, all be it, in a the smallest inside cabin.
The current lecturer is a retired Wharton professor and her husband is a retired international banker. You'd think that they've saved up enough shekels to travel anywhere they like , first class. Guess nothing compares to traveling the world on someone else's dime.
The passengers practicing their Bollywood moves, are also getting the henna tattoos. Before you know it, they'll be selling off all their possessions, and moving to India.
