May 4 Sea Day
Such a good girl.....did my laundry this morning, but must be really slowing up in my old age because I was number 2 in line waiting for the laundry to open.
Went to the final brunch of the cruise. Finally easing up on the food intake but I had to have a glass of bubbly when offered. One final lecture with Col Klinck, talking about American embassies and how they function. Thought it would be dry and tedious but he finished with a bang.
Tomorrow, all but 60 people, will disembark in Singapore.
Met some very sweet and thoughtful guests and will be sad to see them go.They've given us the breakdown of nationalities for the guests in the upcoming cruise and other info.
We have to change rooms, because the last cruise was booked last minute and the room that I had already booked for upcoming cruise, was no longer available.
As long as the people in our upcoming room vacate quickly, we should be able to move in quickly. The room attendant will take all the luggage. Everything hanging, stays hanging and everything else, we will pretty much toss into the suitcases, which is the way I normally pack, anyways.
Tomorrow's forecast for Singapore is WET. Congrats, looks like dandy weather in Montreal for the next week.
Not much to report on a sea day. One last performance from the ship's cast and difficult goodbyes. There are some people that I just have to see again.
